How can actors use technology to help their acting careers. I think one of the most important ways for both professional and aspiring actors is by creating a blog.
What exactly is an Actors Blog?
A blog is basically a type of website. The features that make an actors blog different from other websites are:
* content is published in a chronological fashion
* content is updated regularly
* readers have the possibility to leave comments
So why should actors blog about their acting careers?
Blogs are the easiest type of website to build and spread the word about your acting career, new credits, projects or shows you are currently in. And thanks to RSS feeds and trackbacks allow your content to easily be spread across the web, which simply put, makes it easier for others including Google, Yahoo, and other search engines to find you.

Hello. I’ve read your article and have decided to get on with it, so I’ve started a blog. Thanks for this article.
I agree with you, I think that if you put a little of your personality into your blog a casting director or agent will feel like they have an insight into who you are, it makes you more personal to them and they may want to subscribe and have updates into how your career is going. Keep your blog posts upbeat and friendly. Invite people to comment.
Learning & doing a blog is a good idea. I hope it’s not just another distraction for me. Being friendly and polite, that’s works for me.
I’m glad I read this article today. I’ve been fighting myself for about a month as to whether I should continue blogging-and I just got started last month. The thing is I’m just beginning my acting training so at times I feel as if I don’t have any valuable content to offer. But I’ll keep writing. After all, we’re all on a journey, why would an accomplished actor blog?
By this definition I feel like my blog is way off from an actor’s blog. I’m still learning the craft.
You can blog about your journey in learning the craft?
