I ran across an blog written by actorpreneur Jonathan Nail, “A Trained Actor”. What an excellent way for him to promote himself without even trying. Besides making money with reruns of “Malcolm in the Middle”, I see is also auditioning for one of my favorite shows, “Man of La Mancha” at A Noise Within out in Glendale, California….the music which I play frequently on my ipod.

I'm Alan Nusbaum, founder and CEO of TVI Actors Studio, a unique bicoastal educational institution for actors which stresses the business side of showbiz. A native New Yorker and graduate of the University of Maryland, I worked as a talent agent in the New York office of Cunningham, Escott, Dipene for almost a decade prior to launching TVI Actors Studio.
During my tenure as an agent, I helped the careers of Courtney Cox, Sandra Bullock, Jerry Orbach and Tony award-winner Tonya Pinkins, among many others. Through TVI and this blog and the rest of the Actors Blog Network, I I strive to provide actors with practical knowledge about training and marketing and therein enhance their opportunities.
