Facts about being an actor in the Screen Actors Guild:

Every financially successful actor in the US is a Screen Actors Guild member

Being a SAG member does not mean you’re talented

No one was ever born into the Union, furthermore, finally getting your SAG Union card does not mean you will get another acting job

Just because you are in SAG does not mean talents agents will be more interested in representing you.
