I'm Alan Nusbaum, founder and CEO of TVI Actors Studio, a unique bicoastal educational institution for actors which stresses the business side of showbiz. A native New Yorker and graduate of the University of Maryland, I worked as a talent agent in the New York office of Cunningham, Escott, Dipene for almost a decade prior to launching TVI Actors Studio.

During my tenure as an agent, I helped the careers of Courtney Cox, Sandra Bullock, Jerry Orbach and Tony award-winner Tonya Pinkins, among many others. Through TVI and this blog and the rest of the Actors Blog Network, I I strive to provide actors with practical knowledge about training and marketing and therein enhance their opportunities.
